Beginnings of the Quran
See also: Muhammad's first revelation, History of the Quran and WahyThe cave Hira in the mountain Jabal al-Nourwhere, according to Muslim belief, Muhammad received his first revelation.
Muhammad began to pray alone in a cave named Hira on Mount Jabal al-Nour, near Mecca for several weeks every year.[59][60] Islamic tradition holds that during one of his visits to that cave, in the year 610 the angel Gabriel appeared to him and commanded Muhammad to recite verses that would be included in the Quran.[61] Consensus exists that the first Quranic words revealed were the beginning of Surah 96:1.[62] Muhammad was deeply distressed upon receiving his first revelations. After returning home, Muhammad was consoled and reassured by Khadijah and her Christian cousin, Waraqah ibn Nawfal.[63] Waraqah is variously described as an Ebionite priest (possibly of Mecca) or Nestorian. He also feared that others would dismiss his claims as being possessed.[39] Shi'a tradition states Muhammad was not surprised or frightened at Gabriel's appearance; rather he welcomed the angel, as if he was expected.[64] The initial revelation was followed by a three-year pause (a period known as fatra) during which Muhammad felt depressed and further gave himself to prayers and spiritual practices.[62] When the revelations resumed he was reassured and commanded to begin preaching: "Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased."[65][66][67]A depiction of Muhammad receiving his first revelation from the angel Gabriel. From the manuscript Jami' al-tawarikh by Rashid-al-Din Hamadani, 1307, Ilkhanate period.
Sahih Bukhari narrates Muhammad describing his revelations as "sometimes it is (revealed) like the ringing of a bell". Aisha reported, "I saw the Prophet being inspired Divinely on a very cold day and noticed the sweat dropping from his forehead (as the Inspiration was over)".[68] According to Welch these descriptions may be considered genuine, since they are unlikely to have been forged by later Muslims.[15] Muhammad was confident that he could distinguish his own thoughts from these messages.[69] According to the Quran, one of the main roles of Muhammad is to warn the unbelievers of theireschatological punishment (Quran 38:70, Quran 6:19). Occasionally the Quran did not explicitly refer to Judgment day but provided examples from the history of extinct communities and warns Muhammad's contemporaries of similar calamities (Quran 41:13–16).[21] Muhammad did not only warn those who rejected God's revelation, but also dispensed good news for those who abandoned evil, listening to the divine words and serving God.[70] Muhammad's mission also involves preaching monotheism: The Quran commands Muhammad to proclaim and praise the name of his Lord and instructs him not to worship idols or associate other deities with God.[21][71]
The key themes of the early Quranic verses included the responsibility of man towards his creator; the resurrection of the dead, God's final judgment followed by vivid descriptions of the tortures in Hell and pleasures in Paradise, and the signs of God in all aspects of life. Religious duties required of the believers at this time were few: belief in God, asking for forgiveness of sins, offering frequent prayers, assisting others particularly those in need, rejecting cheating and the love of wealth (considered to be significant in the commercial life of Mecca), being chaste and not to kill newborn girls.[15]

where are all these kingdom halls that were going to start being built?
the rbc arrangement was officially announced as an arrangement that was ending in the united states branch territory in a letter on january 24, 2014 (although this letter is no longer listed on jw.org).
this means that 23 months have passed since the announcement of the ldc taking over and "acceleration" of kingdom hall builds.. what has happened in the meantime with kh construction?
Knowing the Governing Body are such haters of getting a higher education they may have a very poor accountants running their accounting system and so failed to notify the Governing Body about gravity of the situation, partly because they are all ass kissers and yes men of the GB and they know how the GB react toward bringers of bad news and so fudged things a little finally after years of poor accounting the shit has finally hit the fan for the GB and all their ass kissers in the accounting department. Perhaps for this reason they would absolutely hate an audit by the IRS.
Kinda make you wonder what kind of business meeting the GB have to keep them informed about things in the financial department

This may explain the letter to all bodies of elders dated 07-08-2015 wherein it was announced that in some cases congregations might be merged or relocated to more fully utilize existing Kingdom Halls. This would at least delay the need for new Kingdom Halls in some of the larger metro areas.
It funny how they have all these lawsuit payouts in the wings and they were planning on going full steam by buying all kinds of property and investing in many building project, boy the Governing Body is so deluded by their own bullshit that they can't make good business decisions. I think this whole expansion thing was because they can't except reality they turn a habitual deaf ear to it because they know everything already they are the F&DS and they give orders to be obeyed or else.
I wonder how all this money grabbing under false pretense will look if they are forced transparent some how? I think the changing of contribution box labels recently was a way they could get donation and use them for what ever they wanted and not be held accountable.
It was funny how after the big money grab of the congregations that Herd at the annual meeting report said it wasn't the publisher fault for the deficit and that they(not them) simply over spent Jehovah's money. After grabbing all that money by extortion they better not blame it on those they just robbed!

These guys called the Governing Body have egg all over their faces over this and I'm sure is causing quite a kerfuffle at headquarters that is challenging their God like status even among the faithful. I think soon we will be hearing about some big fall out from inside by turn coats who realize how big of a scam the Governing Body really are and are filled with disgust.
Also I expect all their shady dealing and confiscated money from contribution boxes by way of demanding a pledge of excess funds to them might come to found out to be fraud by an audit which might be in the makings now that they have had to stop a shit load of building projects and are having their charity status in many parts of the world examined. Who knows with all this badness that is coming to light about Watchtower and child molestation issues that the IRS might be doing an investigation of the Watchtower Corp and has requested an audit. I mean it is very possible that we are only seeing the tip of the ice berg here and a audit would give us a much better picture of the debts they are trying to hide from every one.
Surely IRS has to have some feeler out for frauds in charity corporation's and are keen on detecting where the money is going so I can't see them coming under the radar on this stuff.
green bay, wiin a turn of events that has stunned the worldwide medical community, local infant nathan jameson, born just six days ago, has become the youngest person ever to permanently and irrevocably know jehovah's witnesses are a harmful cult..this shatters all previous records, university of chicago psychologist douglas mcallister said monday.
in all of documented medical history, there is no case of a newborn taking less than four months to develop the mental faculties required to grasp the full extent of this nightmare called jehovahs witnesses.considering he already comprehends harsh realities that most jehovahs witnesses spend their entire fleeting, shallow existences attempting to deny, baby nathan is quite the little miracle!
he added.though he has not yet developed the capacity for speech, extensive cognitive testing has definitively shown that the shockingly perceptive 6-day-old fully understands and accepts that jehovahs witnesses cannot be trusted, that they remain far too ignorant for their opinions to be reliable, that a lack of self-awareness about their own destructive cult pervades them as a whole, and that most are too ineffectual to successfully pursue facts evidence and reason.sources said the early-blooming newborn was putting two and two together about the real nature of the jehovahs witnesses cult even before leaving the hospital, where his first sensory experiences included the shouts of sick people arguing to get treatment they urgently needed, visitors staring vacantly at smartphones as they scanned jw.org for fear inspired motivation.local reports confirmed the babys disillusionment was only compounded by the fact that he spent his first days in the bleak and soulless company of jehovahs witness relatives , their empty cult non-culture allowing him to realize in record time that all jw pursuits are cold, joyless, and devoid of any substantive purpose or integrity.for a baby, he sure is an insightful little guy, nathans mother, melanie jameson, told reporters.
